Chocolate chip cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar
- water - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- chocolate chips - 2 c
- buttery Crisco - 2 c
- instant oats - 3 c
How to make chocolate chip cookies:
Cream sugars and shortening. Mix in beaten eggs and vanilla. Add salt. Activate baking soda in water and add to mixture. Add remaining ingredients, one at a time, mixing well. Drop on greased cookie sheets. Bake in 350° oven for about 8 to 10 minutes. For softer cookies, remove before they "look" done.
