  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • water - 1 c
  • cocoa - 5 Tbsp
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • self-rising flour - 2 c
  • cooking oil - 1 c
  • box confectioners sugar - 1 item
  • milk may need more - 5 Tbsp
  • Combine cocoa, margarine, oil and water in a saucepan; heat to boiling

How to make chocolate cake:

Mix flour and sugar; set aside. Combine cocoa, margarine, oil and water in a saucepan; heat to boiling. Pour over flour/sugar mixture. Add buttermilk and eggs. Bake at 325° in a sheet pan until done.Icing:1 stick margarine1 box confectioners sugar5 Tbsp. cocoa5 Tbsp. milk (may need more)1 tsp. vanilla Mix over low heat and pour hot icing over hot cake.
