- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 5 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- cooking oil - 1 c
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- milk may need more - 5 Tbsp
- Combine cocoa, margarine, oil and water in a saucepan; heat to boiling
How to make chocolate cake:
Mix flour and sugar; set aside. Combine cocoa, margarine, oil and water in a saucepan; heat to boiling. Pour over flour/sugar mixture. Add buttermilk and eggs. Bake at 325° in a sheet pan until done.Icing:1 stick margarine1 box confectioners sugar5 Tbsp. cocoa5 Tbsp. milk (may need more)1 tsp. vanilla Mix over low heat and pour hot icing over hot cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
