Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1/2 lb
- water - 14 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- parsley - 1 tsp
- basil leaves - 1 tsp
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- sliced celery - 1 c
- bay leaves - 2 item
- sliced carrot - 1 c
- cut up chicken - 1 item
- medium, chopped onion - 1 item
How to make chicken noodle soup:
Combine chicken, onion, bay leaves, salt and pepper; boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, until chicken is tender, for 1 hour. Remove chicken; cool, debone and cut into pieces. Add remaining ingredients; simmer 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chicken, Pasta.
