  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • box confectioners sugar - 1 item
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • stick margarine, melted - 1 item
  • box yellow cake mix not pudding - 1 item

How to make chess squares:

Mix pecans, cake mix and margarine together. Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix remaining ingredients (cream cheese, sugar and eggs) and pour over cake mixture. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Cool and cut in squares.
