Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- coconut - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- nuts, chopped - 3/4 c
- 10x sugar - 3 Tbsp
- eggs beaten - 2 item
- maraschino cherries, drained and chopped - 1/2 c
How to make cherry coconut bars:
Mix flour, butter and sugar for pastry. Spread pastry in 8-inch square pan (pat with fingers). Bake 12 minutes at 350°. Mix rest of ingredients with eggs. Spread over baked pastry for 25 minutes at 350°. Cool; sprinkle with powdered sugar.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
