- sugar - 1/2 c
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cold water - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- butter or margarine, softened - 1/2 c
- raisins - 1/2 c
How to make caramel pudding cake:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture with milk. Stir in raisins. Spread in a greased 8-inch square pan. Combine brown sugar and water. Pour over batter. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Yield: 9 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low protein.
