Caramel pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- cake mix - 1 pkg
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- dark corn syrup
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
How to make caramel pecan pie:
Filling:2/3 c. cake mix1/2 c. brown sugar1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup1 tsp. vanilla3 eggs Heat oven to 350°. In large mixing bowl, combine all filling ingredients and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan. In another large mixing bowl, mix the cake mix you have left after saving the 2/3 cup for filling, butter and 1 egg. Mix until crumbly. Press into greased pan and bake for 15 minutes. Pour filling mixture into crust and sprinkle pecans on top and bake 30 to 35 minutes until filling is set.
