Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 10 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- melted margarine
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- nuts optional - 1/2 c
- oatmeal - 2 c
- caramels - 48 item
How to make caramel bars:
Mix flour, oatmeal, sugar, salt, soda and margarine. Divide mixture in half. Use 1/2 for bottom crust. Pat into pan and bake for 10 minutes at 350°. Melt caramels and milk. Spread this on baked crust and sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top. Top with remaining crust mixture.
