Cabbage salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- almonds - 3/4 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- wine vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- green onions, chopped - 5 item
- sunflower seeds - 1 c
- bag medium shredded cabbage green, purple and carrots, chopped fine - 1 item
- Ramen noodle beef soup - 1 pkg
How to make cabbage salad:
On a large cookie sheet sprayed with Pam, crumble the noodles, sunflower seeds and almonds. Stir and toast at 300° about 12 minutes. Cool slightly. In large mixing bowl, combine cabbage and chopped onions.Dressing: Mix oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. add seasoning from noodle package. Mix thoroughly. Pour dressing over cabbage. Add sunflower seeds and almonds and crumbled noodles. Toss lightly to coat ingredients.
