  • salt - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • can tomato soup - 1 item
  • lean ground beef - 1 lb
  • shredded cabbage - 3 c
  • raw rice - 3 Tbsp
  • soup can water - 1 item

How to make cabbage roll casserole:

Cook beef until lightly browned and crumbly. Mix in onion, rice, salt and pepper; cook 2 to 3 minutes more. Add soup and water; mix thoroughly. Put cabbage in a 2-quart casserole dish. Pour meat mixture over cabbage; do not stir. Cover and bake in slow oven at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
