- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- shredded cabbage - 3 c
- raw rice - 3 Tbsp
- soup can water - 1 item
How to make cabbage roll casserole:
Cook beef until lightly browned and crumbly. Mix in onion, rice, salt and pepper; cook 2 to 3 minutes more. Add soup and water; mix thoroughly. Put cabbage in a 2-quart casserole dish. Pour meat mixture over cabbage; do not stir. Cover and bake in slow oven at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Lactose Free.
