- brown sugar - 2/3 c
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- corn syrup - 1/3 c
How to make butterscotch sauce:
Beat egg yolk, add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cook in a double boiler, stirring frequently, until thickened. Beat vigorously. Serve hot or cold over ice cream, pound cake or angel food cake.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low sodium, Condiments, etc..
