Ingredients/Components
- vanilla
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 5 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- eggs yolks beaten separately for topping - 4 item
How to make butterscotch pie:
Mix all ingredients, except egg yolk, butter and vanilla. Bring to a boil. Add yolks mixed with 1/2 cup or more of pudding. Cook until thick. Add butter and vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell. Beat egg whites and 1/2 cup sugar slowly. Place on pie and bake until done.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
