Butterscotch brownies
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- chocolate bits or finely chopped pecans or walnuts optional - 1 c
How to make butterscotch brownies:
Stir by hand. Mix margarine and sugar. Add eggs. Stir in dry ingredients. Add vanilla, chocolate bits or nuts (if using). Grease and flour pan. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes if using an 11 x 7-inch pan. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes if using a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cut after the brownies have been out of the oven for 2 to 3 minutes.
