Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 2/3 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- stick butter, melted - 1 item
- 9-inch unbaked, deep pie shell - 1 item
How to make buttermilk chess pie:
Mix sugar and flour together. Add melted butter, eggs, buttermilk, salt and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 325° until firm, about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serves 6 to 8. Very rich!Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
