Buttermilk brownies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- nuts optional - 1 item
- Crisco oil - 1/2 c
- Bake at 400° for 20 minutes
How to make buttermilk brownies:
Mix all ingredients and pour into a greased and floured 11 x 16 pan. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes. Let cool.Frosting:1/4 c. cocoa1 tsp. vanilla1/3 c. buttermilk1 box confectioners sugar1 stick butter nuts (optional) Melt butter; add cocoa and buttermilk. Heat to almost boiling.
