Hot chocolate cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- Crisco oil - 1/2 c
- In saucepan combine oil, cocoa, butter and water
How to make hot chocolate cake:
Mix flour and sugar in bowl. In saucepan combine oil, cocoa, butter and water. Bring to a boil. Add this to flour mixture. Add baking soda and buttermilk. Beat eggs slightly and add to mixture. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Makes 10 to 12 servings.Hot Chocolate Frosting:1 stick butter6 Tbsp. milk4 Tbsp. cocoa1 box confectioners sugar1 tsp. vanilla In saucepan bring to a boil the first 3 ingredients.
