Ingredients/Components
- ketchup - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- dry onion soup mix - 1 pkg
- Open Pit barbecue sauce - 1/2 c
- brisket of beef - 1 item
How to make brisket of beef:
Place beef in foil lined pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix ketchup and Open Pit together and pour over meat. Sprinkle with dry onion soup. Seal tightly with foil. Bake for 15 minutes at 475°. Lower temperature to 325° and cook for about 3 hours (depending on weight of meat).Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, One Dish meal.
