Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • raisins - 1 c
  • bread - 1 c
  • milk, scalded - 2 c

How to make bread pudding:

Combine sugar, salt, butter, egg and cinnamon. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly, then bread, raisins and vanilla. Place bowl of ingredients in pan of warm water and bake 1 hour at 350°.
