- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
- molasses - 1 Tbsp
- medium onion - 1 item
- strips bacon - 3 item
- baked beans - 1 item
How to make bootlegger beans:
For every can of baked beans, use these ingredients. Fry bacon halfway done. Fry onion until soft in 1/2 bacon grease. Place beans in baking pan. Crumble bacon into pieces. Add bacon and onion to beans. Add brown sugar and molasses. Mix and bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Four cans serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Low cholesterol, Side dish, Beans.
