Blueberry kuchen
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- egg yolks - 2 item
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- fresh blueberries - 1 2
- butter, if desired - 1 item
How to make blueberry kuchen:
Combine flour, baking powder, salt and 2 tablespoons sugar. Cut in 1/2 cup butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles cornmeal. Press into bottom and sides of a 13 x 9-inch pan. Cover with blueberries. Combine 1 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle mixture over fruit. Dot with butter, if desired. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Combine sour cream and egg yolks. Spread over fruit. Set oven to 350° and return to oven for 35 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Blueberries, Berries.
