Blueberry kuchen
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 c
- confectioners sugar - 1 item
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- margarine - 1/2 c
- white sugar - 2 Tbsp
- blueberries - 3 c
- white vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- dash of cinnamon - 1 item
How to make blueberry kuchen:
Combine 1 cup flour, salt and 2 tablespoons sugar. Work in margarine with fingers. Mix in vinegar. Use a 9-inch loose-bottom layer-cake pan 1 1/2-inches deep. Spread crust mixture on bottom to depth of 1/4 inch and thinly around sides to height of 1 inch. Combine 1 cup granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and the cinnamon. Add 2 cups blueberries and pour into crust. Bake in 400° oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven and put 1 cup raw blueberries on top. Cool and remove rim of pan. Dust with confectioners sugar.
