Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- ice water - 4 5
- unsalted butter - 1/4 c
- blackberries - 6 c
- frozen unsalted butter - 5 Tbsp
- frozen Crisco - 4 Tbsp
How to make blackberry cobbler:
Mix flour, salt, frozen butter and Crisco in food processor to size of small peas. Add ice water and process to clean bowl. Refrigerate in plastic bag.Roll out dough to irregular circle. Put in 1 1/2 to 2-quart baking dish. Dump in berries. Pour sugar over. Dot with butter. Cover with dough edges. Put foil in bottom of oven to catch drips. Bake at 425° for 45 minutes.
