Black russian brownies
Ingredients/Components
- Kahlua - 1/3 c
- vanilla
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- butter - 1 c
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- large eggs - 4 item
- sifted flour
- black pepper - 3/4 tsp
- vodka - 2 Tbsp
- unsweetened chocolate 1 oz - 4 sq
How to make black russian brownies:
Line 13 x 9-inch pan with wax paper. In saucepan, melt chocolate with pepper and butter (low heat). Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla until blended. Stir in cooled chocolate mixture, the kahlua and vodka.Resift flour, salt and baking powder into mixture and stir until blended. Add nuts. Turn into pan. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes until toothpick in center comes out clean. Do not overbake.
