  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • flour
  • water - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 1/4 c
  • chocolate chips - 3/4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • cooking oil - 1/3 c
  • sugar and chopped nuts - 1 item

How to make black bottom cups:

Combine the cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, egg and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Set aside. Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Add water, cooking oil, vinegar and vanilla. Mix well. Fill cupcake papers 1/3 full with chocolate batter. Place a heaping teaspoonful of cheese mixture in center. Sprinkle tops with sugar and nuts. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Yields 24. These freeze well.
