Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- beaten egg - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 item
- chicken - 3 4
- Bisquick heaped - 1 c
- can cream of soup celery, chicken or mushroom - 1 item
How to make bisquick chicken pie:
Stew chicken in 1-quart salted water until tender. Cook chopped onion with chicken. Cool, pour broth off and debone. Place deboned chicken in baking dish. Add cream of cream soup and 1 cup chicken broth. Combine remaining ingredients for batter. Pour batter over and bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Pour 1/2 cup broth over pie when taken from oven. Extra broth may be used as a gravy or sauce.Recipe categories: Main dish, Chicken breast, Savory pies.
