Beef stroganoff over rice
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- cooked rice - 2 c
- garlic to taste - 1 item
- round steak, cut into thin strips - 1 lb
How to make beef stroganoff over rice:
Brown steak, onion and garlic in the butter, then remove the garlic. Stir in the soup, water, sour cream, paprika, salt and pepper and cover. Cook over low heat for 45 minutes or until steak is tender, stirring frequently. Serve over rice. Makes 4 serRecipe categories: Healthy, Meat, Beef.
