Barbecue sauce for chicken
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- cider vinegar - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- ketchup - 1/2 c
- prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- medium onion, sliced - 1 item
How to make barbecue sauce for chicken:
In a medium saucepan, combine all the ingredients, except the ketchup. Bring mixture to a boil and cook it over moderately low heat for 20 minutes. The sauce should be thick. Stir in ketchup and remove sauce from heat.Recipe categories: Herb and spice mixes, Marinades and rubs, Cooking mixes.
