Banana split cake
Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
- sticks margarine - 3 item
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- nuts, chopped - 1/2 c
- maraschino cherries - 1 item
- bananas - 4 item
- large Cool Whip - 1 item
- eggs, beaten well - 2 item
- large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
How to make banana split cake:
First Layer: Mix 2 cups graham cracker crumbs and 1 stick margarine at room temperature. Put in a 13 x 9-inch pan. (Do not bake.)Second Layer: Beat at low speed 2 cups powdered sugar, 2 eggs and 2 sticks of margarine (at room temperature). Beat for 15 minutes and pour over graham cracker crumbs.
Third Layer: Slice 4 bananas (lengthways) and place on top of mixture. Add a large can crushed pineapple. Top with Cool Whip, 1/2 cup chopped nuts and maraschino cherries. Refrigerate.
