Ingredients/Components

  • graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • chopped pecans - 1 item
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • powdered sugar - 2 c
  • Cool Whip - 16 oz
  • can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
  • stick melted butter - 1 item
  • cherries - 1 item
  • to 10 bananas, sliced - 8 item

How to make banana split cake:

Mix graham cracker crumbs and margarine. Press into bottom of dish. In saucepan, melt butter. Add powdered sugar and eggs; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour over crumbs. Place sliced bananas next. Pour pineapple over top of bananas. Spread Cool Whip on top of pineapple. Garnish with pecans and cherries. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours.
