Banana split cake
Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/4 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
- can drained pineapple - 1 oz
- large ripe bananas - 4 item
- chopped red cherries - 1/2 c
How to make banana split cake:
Melt 1 stick margarine and mix with the 2 cups graham cracker crumbs. Pat mixture firmly in the bottom of an 8 x 11 x 2-inch pan.2nd layer: Combine 2 eggs, 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 stick margarine and 1 teaspoon vanilla in mixing bowl of electric mixer. Beat 10 minutes at medium speed. Pour over cracker crumbs.
3rd layer: Slice bananas and place over mixture.
4th layer: Drain pineapple and place over bananas.
5th layer: Spread Cool Whip on top of pineapple and sprinkle with nuts and cherries. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
