Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped pecans - 1 pkg
- stick butter - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- maraschino cherries - 1 item
- can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
- large Cool Whip - 1 item
- or 5 bananas - 4 item
- Filling:2 sticks butter
How to make banana split cake:
Filling:2 sticks butter2 c. powdered sugar2 eggs4 or 5 bananas1 can crushed pineapple, drained1 pkg. chopped pecans1 large Cool Whip maraschino cherries Melt butter with graham cracker crumbs. Pat firmly into 9 x 13 baking dish. This makes the crust.Filling: Cream butter and powdered sugar and eggs. Beat 15 minutes, no less, and pour into the crust. Slice the bananas on top of this. Next, add crushed pineapple and then the chopped pecans. Top with Cool Whip and garnish with cherries.
