  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour
  • butter - 1 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • pecans - 1 c
  • small ripe bananas - 6 item

How to make banana nut cake:

Mix sugar, butter and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour, soda and salt together; add alternately with milk. Mash bananas and add. Then add nuts. Bake in a 10-inch stem pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or in 2 loaf pans for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
