- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar - 2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- cream - 10 Tbsp
- oleo
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- pecans, chopped - 2 c
- medium mashed bananas - 4 item
How to make banana cake:
Topping:6 Tbsp. oleo10 Tbsp. cream1 c. coconut2 c. pecans, chopped2 c. brown sugar Beat sugar and 2 sticks oleo until light. Add eggs and salt. Stir together the soda, milk and mashed bananas. Alternately add the banana mixture and flour to the sugar mixture. Pour into a 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan.Topping: Before baking, bring the oleo, cream, coconut, pecans and brown sugar to a boil. Pour over cake batter. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes at 350°.
