Baked bean medley
Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 1 lb
- cans pork and beans - 2 oz
- can kidney beans - 1 oz
- can lima beans - 1 oz
- sliced bacon, chopped into pieces, cooked and drained - 3/4 lb
- barbecue sauce
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 2 c
- can red beans - 1 oz
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
How to make baked bean medley:
In a Dutch oven, cook ground beef and onion until meat is brown and onion is tender; drain fat. In a colander, drain one can of the pork and beans, kidney beans, red beans and lima beans. To the Dutch oven, add all of the beans, bacon, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Cover and bake in a 350° oven about 1 hour or until heated through.
