Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 4 c
- water
- egg - 1 item
- poppy seed - 1/2 c
- sesame seed - 1/2 c
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
- onion chips - 1/2 c
How to make bagels:
Blend water (warm), 1 1/2 cups flour, salt, sugar, yeast and onion chips for 3 minutes. Add the rest of the flour and knead for 20 minutes. Cover for 20 minutes. Make into 24 bagels and cover for 20 minutes. Boil each bagel for 3 minutes on each side. Spread egg white on top and sprinkle with poppy and sesame seed. Bake at 425° for 30 minutes.
