  • cracker crumbs
  • medium white sauce - 2 c
  • hard-boiled eggs, sliced - 3 item
  • each cans drained asparagus pieces - 2 1/2
  • grated sharp cheese I prefer Velveeta

How to make asparagus au gratin:

Place in greased 2-quart casserole in following order: asparagus, eggs, cheese, white sauce and crumbs. Repeat layers. Bake uncovered at 350° for 30 minutes. (You can also just add the cheese to the white sauce and layer that way.)
