- oil - 3/4 c
- sifted confectioners sugar
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- apricot nectar - 3/4 c
- box lemon cake mix - 1 item
- apricot nectar sufficient for thinning to glaze consistency - 1 item
How to make apricot nectar cake:
Glaze:1 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar2 tsp. lemon juice apricot nectar sufficient for thinning to glaze consistency Add oil and apricot nectar to cake mix and beat with an electric mixer until blended. Add eggs one at a time and beat after each. Add lemon juice and blend in well. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 350° for about 30 minutes. Test for doneness with a wooden pick in the center.Glaze: Mix the glaze ingredients and pour over warm cake.
