  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • apricot nectar - 1 c
  • Wesson oil - 1/2 c
  • box lemon supreme cake mix - 1 item
  • several drops lemon juice - 1 item
  • Use a tube cake pan

How to make apricot cake:

Mix all ingredients. Use a tube cake pan. With solid shortening, grease pan. Then lightly flour the pan. Pour mixture into pan. Bake at 350° approximately 40 minutes or until cake leaves side on pan. Be careful not to overbake this cake and dry it out. Use toothpick test after 35 minutes.Glaze:1 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar several Tbsp. apricot nectar several drops lemon juice Mix powdered sugar with apricot nectar and lemon juice. Pour glaze over warm cake. Allow glaze to cover top and run down sides.
