Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- apricot nectar - 1 c
- Wesson oil - 1/2 c
- box lemon supreme cake mix - 1 item
- several drops lemon juice - 1 item
- Use a tube cake pan
How to make apricot cake:
Mix all ingredients. Use a tube cake pan. With solid shortening, grease pan. Then lightly flour the pan. Pour mixture into pan. Bake at 350° approximately 40 minutes or until cake leaves side on pan. Be careful not to overbake this cake and dry it out. Use toothpick test after 35 minutes.Glaze:1 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar several Tbsp. apricot nectar several drops lemon juice Mix powdered sugar with apricot nectar and lemon juice.
