  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • cocoa - 4 5
  • eggs, beaten - 4 item
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • melted butter - 4 5
  • oleo - 1 c
  • applesauce - 1 c
  • chocolate - 4 sq
  • milk to spreading consistency - 1 item
  • Add remaining ingredients to mixture

How to make applesauce brownies:

Melt and cool oleo and chocolate. Add remaining ingredients to mixture. Bake greased 9 x 15-inch cookie sheet at 350° for 25 minutes.Icing:1/2 box powdered sugar4 or 5 Tbsp. cocoa4 or 5 Tbsp. melted butter1/4 tsp. vanilla milk (to spreading consistency)
