- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- cocoa - 4 5
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- melted butter - 4 5
- oleo - 1 c
- applesauce - 1 c
- chocolate - 4 sq
- milk to spreading consistency - 1 item
- Add remaining ingredients to mixture
How to make applesauce brownies:
Melt and cool oleo and chocolate. Add remaining ingredients to mixture. Bake greased 9 x 15-inch cookie sheet at 350° for 25 minutes.Icing:1/2 box powdered sugar4 or 5 Tbsp. cocoa4 or 5 Tbsp. melted butter1/4 tsp. vanilla milk (to spreading consistency)Recipe categories: Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie, Brownies.
