Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- white vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- can pineapple chunks, drained - 1 to
- walnuts or pecans - 1 c
- juice from pineapple - 1 item
- to 10 medium sized apples - 8 item
How to make apple salad:
Peel and cut apples into bite size pieces. Drain pineapple chunks and mix with apples. Combine juice from pineapple chunks with flour and vinegar. Cook juice, vinegar and flour until thickened. Pour over apples and pineapple. Add cheese and nuts and mix until coated.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Salads, Side dish.
