- sugar - 1 item
- cinnamon - 1 item
- butter - 1 item
- water
- apples - 1 item
- pie crust - 1 item
How to make apple dumplings:
Roll pie crust thin and cut into squares, big enough to fold over apple mixture. Cube apples (1 per each pie square). Add 1 tablespoon or more sugar to each, sprinkle cinnamon and add 1 teaspoon butter. Fold corners of crust together and pinch shut. Place dumplings in pan. Heat water, 1 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Pour over dumplings. Bake at 350° until browned.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
