Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- firmly packed brown sugar
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- whipped cream - 1 item
- butter at room temperature - 1/2 c
- apples, peeled, cored and sliced - 6 item
- unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie shell - 1 item
How to make apple caramel pie:
Preheat oven to 350°. Arrange apple slices in pie shell. Combine butter, flour, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon in a bowl. Spread mixture over apples. Sprinkle with walnuts. Bake for 50 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pies and tarts, Apple.
