Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 8 oz
- powdered sugar - 1/4 c
- angel food cake store bought works well - 1 item
- medium "lite" whipped topping - 1 item
- can pie filling or cooked thickened fruit - 1 item
How to make angel food dessert:
Break cake in bits in large bowl. Soften cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla. Add whipped topping. Mix well. Add to cake. Mix well. Press into 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Press down well. Spread pie filling over top. Cover well. Refrigerate. Best made day before serving. Serve cold. May use crushed pineapple, thickened, or any fresh fruit, cooked and thickened.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Weeknight.
