Ambrosia salad
Ingredients/Components
- flaked coconut - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- whipping cream, whipped - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- seedless green grapes - 1/2 c
- bananas, peeled and sliced - 2 item
- pitted dates, cut up - 1/4 c
- diced pared orange - 3/4 c
How to make ambrosia salad:
Combine fruits. Sprinkle with lemon juice; chill. Fold whipped cream into mayonnaise. Fold into fruit mixture. Serve on lettuce lined plates. Top with flaked coconut. Makes 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Lunch/snacks, Salads.
