Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- water - 1/2 c
- Crisco oil - 3/4 c
- white wine - 1/2 c
- box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix - 1 item
- Cake Glaze:1 stick margarine
How to make white wine cake:
Cake Glaze:1 stick margarine1 c. sugar1/4 c. water1/4 c. white wine Flour and grease tube or Bundt pan. Put nuts in bottom of pan. Mix all other ingredients together and pour in pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.Glaze: Bring margarine, sugar and water to a boil. Boil 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add wine.
Poke holes in cake while cake is hot. Pour glaze over cake. Leave in pan for 20 minutes so glaze can soak in, then turn onto plate. Let set for 2 days before cutting.
