- eggs - 4 item
- stick margarine - 1 item
- plain flour - 2 c
- whole pecans - 4 c
- whole candied cherries - 1 lb
- sugar heaping - 1 c
- whole dates
- candied pineapple chunks - 1 lb
- cooking sherry or 2 tsp - 3 tsp
How to make white fruit cake:
Dredge fruit and nuts in small amount of flour. Cream the sugar and margarine. Alternately add flour and eggs. Add flavoring and dredged fruit and nuts. Pour in greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or until done.Recipe categories: Desserts, American, North american.
