  • pkg - 1 oz
  • evaporated milk - 2/3 c
  • margarine, softened - 3/4 c
  • German chocolate cake mix - 1 item
  • nuts pecans - 1 c

How to make turtle brownies:

Combine caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Cook over low heat until melted. Combine cake mix, soft margarine and rest of evaporated milk. Mix until crumbly. Press 3/4 of mix in bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake for 6 minutes at 350°. Pour melted caramels, nuts and chocolate chips on top. Crumble remaining cake mix on top. Bake 15 to 18 minutes at 350°.
