Tuna casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- boiling water - 6 c
- cracker crumbs - 1/2 c
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- hard-boiled eggs, sliced - 3 item
- grated Velveeta cheese - 1 c
- small can tuna, flaked - 1 item
- noodles, broken - 2 c
How to make tuna casserole:
Boil water; add noodles and 1 teaspoon of salt. Cook 15 minutes until tender; drain. Blend 2 tablespoons of margarine with flour, 1 teaspoon of salt and pepper. Gradually stir in milk. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add noodles, cheese, tuna and eggs. Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch baking dish. Mix remaining margarine with cracker crumbs.
