Ingredients/Components
- shredded Monterey Jack cheese - 1 c
- bottle Catalina dressing - 1 item
- small yellow onion - 1 item
- head iceberg lettuce, shredded - 1 item
- large tomatoes, cut into chunks - 2 item
- or less lean ground beef - 1 lb
- bag tortilla chips, mashed - 1 item
How to make taco salad:
Brown ground beef and onion. Drain any extra fat. Combine lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and beef mixture. Toss lightly. Add tortilla chips and Catalina dressing. Toss again. Serve immediately.Recipe categories: Salads, Main dish, Beans.
