Ingredients/Components
- Velveeta cheese - 1 lb
- garlic salt - 3 garlic
- chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- can Ro-Tel tomatoes - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- green onions, chopped - 1 c
- large head lettuce, shredded - 1 item
- cumin - 1 Tbsp
- to 3 tomatoes, chopped - 2 item
- ground meat, browned - 1 lb
- large bag Fritos, crushed - 1 item
How to make taco salad:
Brown meat and drain fat. Combine cheese, Ro-Tel tomatoes, garlic, cumin and chili powder; set aside. In a large bowl, combine lettuce and chopped tomatoes. Add Fritos, ground meat, onions and green pepper. Pour cheese over lettuce and meat mixture just before serving and toss.Recipe categories: Salads, Main dish, Beans.
